How could a 8 foot plus primate that weighs hundreds of pounds be able to stay so well hidden for 400+ years?  The answer to that is where they live and tunnel vision that most people have of their environment.  This primate has been seen but on rare occasions by a lucky few.

The first 300 years we have some journal entries, stories about ghosts/hermits/monsters and oral history about this primate.  In the 50's stories starting to catch the media attention about Big Foot.  Most areas where they live is rugged and remote.  It was not until we started to live in these areas or to use these areas that more reports started to surface.

They like to stay in the shadows and to stay hidden.  Our military also has perfected the art of camouflage.  Men can literally hide in 10 inches or less in foliage and be never seen.  Why wouldn't another primate that is human smart be able to stay for the most part hidden from us?  I think some are hiding in plain view because of our tunnel vision.

Just because we can't see something doesn't mean that it is not there.  Mysteries still abound in our world and we need to stay open-minded and be willing to explore possibilities.

In my last post I alluded to the classic primate behavior seen and reported by people of Big Foot.  There are 2 distinct views about what type of primate Big Foot would be categorized under by many:  Some type of primitive human or a upright great ape.  Right now with the evidence we have, Big Foot could be either ape or human or a combination of the two.  Until we have a body it is merely guesswork.

The reason I am mentioning primate behavior is that many of the sightings and reports have this behavior mentioned.  Only these people have little or no knowledge of this behavior.  This is a major reason why I believe there is a primate out there in our woods and forests.  Most people don't have the knowledge and education to know about certain characterizations of primate behavior.  I literately have read hundreds of reports.  There are certain distinct similarities in most of them with this behavior.

Howling/calling/whistling, rock clacking, tree knocking, breaking trees, rock throwing, full scale charge that will stop several feet from a person, mimicking and problem-solving are behaviors people have reported.  If you study the behaviors of chimps, orangutans and gorillas many of these behaviors have been noted and documented.  Coincidence?  Correlation?

I read some stories from Native Americans about Big Foot.  I was amazed at the mention of the behaviors of Big Foot in these stories that is primate behavior.  Some these stories are hundred plus years old that was passed down to each generation.

Do I have you thinking?

My husband and I sat here at this spot one Saturday morning.  We decided to just sit and enjoy the forest.  Deer crashed through the forest all around us.  Birds chirping and whistling.  Insects buzzing around.  It was very peaceful.  We have been so busy searching and had not spent anytime just enjoying nature.

After an hour the deer disappeared.  Then we heard 3 knocks.  Then an answering one.  We would hear a knock in front of us and then an answering knock from our left.  Sometimes 2 knocks and then an answering one knock.  This went on for 10 minutes!  Who made this sound?  We were the only humans in the area.  Deer?  Bear?  Mountain Lion?  Birds-Woodpeckers?

Woodpeckers make rapid knocks.  Like machine gun fire.  I know because I have seen and heard them before.  This was not that.

What?  2 drummers at opposite spots with a ravine between them hiding behind some big trees knocking on trees, one, two or 3 times and then answer back?  I have some ocean front property in Arizona for you to buy.

Much of what has been reported by Big Foot witnesses have shown classic primate behavior.  I bet nobody has told you that before.  Knocking on trees is classic primate behavior.

The idea of a bipedal primate in our woods and forests may seem impossible but if you look at the environments of our woods and forests it can sustain them.  There are primates in South America, Africa and Asia.  Why wouldn't there be some here?  Many animals including man crossed into North America when it was connected to Asia.  The possibilities are there.  We have oral history of these bipedal primates from the Native Americans, sightings and journals/newspaper accounts for the last 400+ years.

Why write it off as wild imaginations or superstitions?  There is a pattern here and most in the scientific community will do nothing.  Again why?

I have found a bare foot impression that is 17 inches long and 7 inches wide.  My hand is 7 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide.

I have found a nest/structure that is massive.  The interior is about 6'x10'.  Large trees and branches used that were not cut by axes or saws.  Just broken or peeled.  The side branches woven into each other.  Huge trees made into beams on top with other trees woven and anchored to make a roof.  A huge tree bent over and anchored to another tree as a base of this structure.  This was purposely made by something very strong and very smart.

Bear?  Deer?  Mountain Lion?  Elk?  Rabbit?  Ground Squirrels?  Owls?  Hawks?  Flies?  Grasshoppers?  Ants?

To me it makes sense that there is something out in our woods and forest who is very strong and human smart.
