Are Humans the Only Modern Hominid?

Fossils-Wikipedia:
Because of the specialized and rare circumstances required for a biological structure to fossilize, only a small percentage of life forms can be expected to be represented in discoveries, and each discovery represent only a snapshot of the process of evolution.

  • Fossils species are fossils found that fossilized millions of years ago and thought to be extinct but found to be a species alive and living on earth.  An example of this is the coelacanths which is a fish.
  • Mythical species that have been reported by natives for hundreds of years to be discovered as a true species.  Three species that are examples of this are the giant squid, mountain gorilla and the Bili ape.
  • Another mythical creature was the little people of the south Pacific Ocean.  There have been fossils found that they now call the hobbit.

Do you see where I am going with this post?

Fossils are rare and not a true indicator of all the species that have lived on earth for millions of years.  They are only a snapshot of what was living millions or even thousands of years ago.  To expect that only the few fossils found are the only living things to live on earth is not a true indication of the diversity of our earth.  Just look at the diversity and how many different species we now have should tell you that our world is more dynamic than what many think.  Even when you factor into the equation of species off shooting from a common ancestor should still point to a much more diversified earth.  We do know that many people have Neanderthal ancestry through DNA findings.  They have also have said that Homo Erectus and Homo Habilis and other are in our DNA.  The scientists are finding that the Homo Sapien (modern & us) interbred with other hominids.  As we learn more about DNA, it will show a clearer picture of our ancestry than fossils.

The first thing that popped in my mind was that these hominids were around when there was Homo Sapiens (us).

Have you looked at the renderings of these early hominids?

Have you read about their physical characteristics?
  • Protruding jaw
  • No chin
  • Thick brow
  • Some found with sagittal crest
  • Robust frame
  • Short legs
  • Long arms
How is Bigfoot described by people who had seen one?
  • Protruding jaw
  • Thick brow
  • Some with pointed head
  • No neck
  • Robust frame
  • Long arms
I think we need to look into the possibility that we have a primitive hominid that had not interbred with humans or on a limited scale still living on earth as a distinct species.  Many of the ape-like characteristics and human characteristics have been reported about Bigfoot by many people may point to a modern version of Homo Erectus or another early hominid .  For hundreds of years Native Americans and First Nations talked about a tribe of people that was a person but a different person.  Maybe it is time for us to look at the possibility that we have other hominids besides Homo Sapiens living in our woods and forest here in North America.

Let me tell you about the Loess Man of Nebraska:

In 1894, a skull was uncovered that could not be identified.  Then 12 years later Robert Fletcher Gilder from the University of Nebraska found a similar skull.  Both were found in mounds about 4 feet deep.  The first skull was sent to Robert Gilder.  After examining both skulls he said they were the remains of  the Neanderthal Man.

In the November 16, 1906 issue of Science Magazine, Robert Gilder said the skulls are of the Neanderthal type.  With protruding brows, low forehead, devoid of frontal eminences, large parietal eminences, narrow temple, thick skull wall and small brain capacity.

Then in 1907, another book was written by an anthropologist Ales Hrdlicka called Skeletal remains suggesting or attributed to Early Man in North America, tried to discredit Robert Gilder's finding on the skulls he found.  He claimed that they had to be modern skulls and not Neanderthal because:
  1. Shallow depth of 4 feet of the mound.
  2. Bones had not fossilized
  3. Mice had chewed the bones because of the found rodent bites.  He surmised that the mice took the bones and dragged them to their burrow, the burrow collapsed which made the bones appear deeper.
  4. Then he said that it was common for the contemporary natives to have sloping foreheads and pronounced brow ridges.
  5. He also mentions other mounds that had similar Neanderthal-like skulls.  ?!?
Now I would like to point out a few things:
  1. Within the mounds many of the skulls were fragmented and dispersed.  Which would be unexpected for a controlled burial.  So the assumption it must be mice that made the skulls and bones be deeper seems far fetched if there were no remains of mice since he is assuming the burrow collapsed.
  2. Were all the mounds found be contributed to mice and their burrow collapsing?  Does that even make sense?  Is this an actual fact about the mounds?  Were there rodent bites on all the skulls found?
  3. It is not common for the contemporary natives to have sloping foreheads and pronounced brow ridges.  It wasn't a common characteristic like he claimed.
  4. The thickness of the skulls point not to human but to something else.
  5. Have all the known Neanderthal remains that were found before these skulls in other parts of the world been fossilized remains?  Were any found like these skulls?
  6. Could they be something else if not Neanderthal?
I will state right now that I am not an expert but I do have a brain and can analyze what I have read.  It seems to me that there are some questions that our science community is not sharing with the general public.  Until recently I have never been taught, or had read or watched anything about mounds or remains that look human-like but are not.  Why?

Either the history of when humans came to North America that is perpetuated to us is wrong and they are hiding the truth from us

or

There are other human-type species living here in North America.  That are big, with thick skulls, with sloping foreheads and pronounced brow ridges.

So if those bones were actually not ancient but from a modern species then either we have Neanderthals running around in North America or maybe they could be Sasquatch.

Never Say Never in Regards to Our Mysterious World Especially Bigfoot

The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance-
it is the illusion of knowledge.
~Daniel J. Boorstin~

The Bili Ape found in the northern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the late 1990's seemed to be both a chimpanzee and gorilla.  It has only been seen by one scientist Shelly Williams.  Has it suddenly morphed into a newly discovered species because a primatologist has seen them?. The locals have always talked about them but they were not "discovered by science" until 2001. Does that mean they did not exist until now?  Not much is known about them but if you talked to the locals they seemed to know all about them. They are capable of killing lions and are considered ferocious.  How can they be a new species when there is local knowledge and oral history about them?

For me the premise that without scientific discovery there is no such thing as a Bigfoot doesn't make sense. Discovery of living things don't just become real because science has made the discovery. The oral history of Bigfoot by Native Americans and First Nations is rich in facts and details about them. This was a known creature of their world. Does that mean that since Europeans came to America that what was a fact becomes a myth because the white man hasn't used their science to discover them? That is being a bit arrogant and close minded. To me it makes sense to try to find out rather than dismiss something that has a long history here in America. Closed minds don't make discoveries. Only the ones who dare and are open to discovery are the ones who discover.

I truly think that our premise that unless someone who is officially from the science community has made the determination that a species is real is being arrogant.  Thinking they know everything.  When in fact our science community has been reminded so many times over history that they are wrong or ignorant of our world and all that lives there.  They continually have to retract their facts or premise trying to word it in a way that still makes them sound intelligent.  Even when they have to completely do a 360 such as saying many years ago that life can't happen unless there is light.   Now they are saying there has to be some type of energy.  This is thanks to the discoveries made in the deep, dark depths of our oceans.  Making absolutes and saying they know everything is setting up the science community to being closed minded and arrogant.  It should not be part of the science community.  Being a skeptic but using imagination and problem-solving to approach our world and the mysteries should be more of an appropriate approach.  Saying that what they have found for now indicates what they know.  There is nothing wrong with saying that what facts known for now indicates certain premises and also lead them to educated guesses on other things.

I know I have sounded a bit harsh and seemed a bit anti-science but in reality I am not.  I love science.  It has done so many things to help us learn about our world and have had many wonderful discoveries.  Its the manner or the way the science community has been about of the many mysteries that regular people have talked about for a long time.  Some have actually been proven real such as the giant squid.  SCIENCE TRIES TO EXPLAIN OUR WORLD IN A RATIONAL MANNER BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS.  It never will.  Why?  Because we are part of the mystery.  We still have questions about the how and why of our world starting with the beginning.  If you have heard otherwise then you were told wrong.  It is all educated guesses and beliefs.  That is what makes our world so fascinating.  We don't know everything.  Only a tiny fraction and its there for us to discover more.

I have never made one of my discoveries
through the process of rational thinking.

Hide-n-Seek Champion-The Sasquatch

I have in the past blogs have talked about how it is possible for our bipedal primate to be able to successfully hide from our society.  I would like to talk a bit more on how it is possible even in modern times.  There are many who feel our modern times are so "modern" with our technology that there is no more mystery.  We have all the answers.  That in itself tells me that our modern times have more in common with the dark ages of the past.

Why?

I feel that with this mindset it has closed our minds to learning and the possibilities of anything and everything.  Which sounds a bit like the mindset of the dark ages.  The only difference I can see is the fear factor but it may also play a factor in our modern time along with arrogance.  The reality is that we do not have all the answers and never will.  It is all about opinions and science's educated guesses.  Our earth and the living beings living on the blue planet will always be mysterious.  That includes us.  We still don't know how and what with life beginning and when it ends.  How will we be able to find the answers to the mystery when we are part of it?

With that said I would like to talk about how it is possible for a large bipedal primate to live successively here in North America right under our noses.  I will point out that they have been known for hundreds of years by Native Americans and others but since they are only people and not the science community their insight and knowledge has been disregarded as myth or superstition.

How is that possible?

I suspect that this primate is intelligent and savvy in regards to human behavior and have adapted accordingly.  Why not promote the idea of being a figment of someone imagination and hide in plain sight?  I am thinking some of the urban legends and haunted stories of certain forest/woods/ravines could be linked to Bigfoot.  Many of the sounds and sightings sound a lot like some of these legends and stories.  How about the wildman or woman who everyone says is a hermit but no one has never seen but heard about?  Sound familiar?

How about moving around mostly during the night time?  Shadows?  Weird sounds?  Unexplained happenings?  Animals behaving weirdly?  Stories have been passed down through families who live by swamps/woods/forest.  These stories have enough details that point to an unknown wild species here in America.  If these wildlife savvy people know how to track and hunt to survive, how can you dismiss the stories and their knowledge?  How do you explain how Native Americans knew how to react/deal with one and how to avoid it?

When you stop and look at some of what people have shared over the years many of the details are compelling enough to point to something big, hairy and walking on 2 legs here in North America.  Many have shared the small details that even seems more compelling to me.  Most stories may seemed to be based on fear or imagination will not have the details or descriptions unless it is based on something real and seen and experienced.  When you have similar details that need to be seen in person and shared before modern times and could not shared like it would today speaks volumes to me.  Its all about the details.

Now I would like to point out how it is possible for them to hide even in modern times with all our technology.  Just the point of them using forested, wooded, rugged terrain makes it possible.  Our technology still has problems with our woods/forest and rugged areas.  Even our outlying areas of our urban locations are possible for them.  We have many parks and designated wild areas for them to successfully remain hidden from us when needed.  Then we have our remote wilderness areas.  Just the sheer size and inaccessibility make it a perfect place for them.

Their ability to hide is not perfect.  How do I know this?  Because we have continual sightings of them on a consistent basis.  The system works but its not failsafe.  The main reason they are successful is our continual premise that they are a myth and not real.  So even if seen it is dismissed as misidentification or an illusion.

How perfect is that for an intelligent primate to live successfully just out of reach of our society?

We live in a world that is mysterious and ever changing.  There have been many times that our science community has made definite statements about living beings and how our earth functioned.  Then they had to revised their findings because they were not correct.  One perfect example that illustrates this is when I was growing up I was taught that life cannot happen without light.  Then the exploration of our deep oceans had our science community restate that in order for life to happen you need energy.  I will add that this statement should only be apply to our earth.  Expecting this to be true on other planets is a bit short-sided and arrogant is my thought.  How can we be expert on something we know nothing about?

I have never thought of how the stories that we were taught or told from long ago may have some truth to them.  I have been taught that they were superstition-based stories from people who did not know anything.  They had a wild imagination and were not real.  Now older and wiser I am wondering who is being closed-minded and short-sided?  I am thinking our educated and profound experts have missed the opportunity to learn more about our world.  Similar and persistent stories from ancient times through modern time have been found throughout our world.  Not just here in North America.  Could those stories about knights of old from the medieval times fighting monsters and unknown beast be based on fact?  How about the stories about sea creatures?  One such sea monster the giant squid turned out to be true.

Now we are hearing about mounds with giants with double row of teeth with 6 fingers found here in America.  How about in South America those skulls with elongated skulls?  What else has there been found but hidden from us since it does not fit our perceptions of our history and the living creatures?

When you look at the new primates found recently within the last 5 years, it makes it easier to think of the possibility of a North American bipedal primate.  The remoteness and wild areas here in North America is still here.  When you add an intelligent bipedal primate it makes it a real possibility.  The primate species other than humans on our continent is missing that is found elsewhere.  We have the climate and right environment.  Where are they?

I have gone from being someone who is trying to discover Bigfoot to actually knowing they are real and alive here in North America.  I am secure in what I have found and seen.  What frustrates me is the way our experts refuse to even look into this primate.  Just because it has been sensationalized and yes, even hoaxed by stupid people should not hinder them from dispelling this persistent mystery.  This is a perfect opportunity to prove once and for all that this mystery is just people's imagination.

The main reason I think they won't do this is because they don't want to be proven wrong.  Our woods and forest will never be the same when they are officially discovered.  It may open a can of worms.

How Do You Explain the Prints?

I had gone to a friend's location that has active Bigfoot activity.  What was nice about this location was it being void of people and rained all night until 4:30 in the morning.  The 19 inch print with track way was found at night in the rain.  It was gone the next morning because of the rain.  That was a lucky find.  I am glad we took pictures right then and did not wait for the morning.  We also found where this 19 inch one walked along the tree line.  We also found 9 1/2 inch prints.  All washed away in the rain by the next morning.

Saturday morning we had explored the location and found several more prints.

How do you explain the prints found Saturday morning?  They could not have been made on Friday because of the rain.  The ones found Friday night were washed away.

This is a perfect example of how rain actually played a positive factor for me this weekend.  It gave me a time frame of when the prints were made and eliminated other possibilities.

Yes, there is a bipedal primate out there in our woods and forest.  There is no doubt.  This rainy weekend was a clear indication that points to this.

If Bigfoot is so Shy and Elusive, Why are they seen?

Why are Bigfoot seen by people?  They are reported to be shy and elusive.  Would this be a reason not to believe people?

This would make for a solid reason if we lived in a perfect world and people do not visit or live in areas that may have some Bigfoot.  Statistically there will be some type of report about them if they are real.  In other words the reports and physicals evidence such as prints are statistics augmenting their existence.  All living things on earth leave some type of signs of their existence.  This also applies to Bigfoot being a bipedal primate living in the woods and forests of North America.  We have ongoing indications of them now for over 400 years and they keep coming.  Even in our modern world.    You cannot disclaim reliable and reputable eye witness accounts.  What about the physical prints found that are outside the human size range or in cold climates where bare feet is a detriment to survival?

Why would a primate that has been reputed to be shy, elusive and wary of people be seen by people?

That actually is easy to answer.  They are curious and territorial.  They are primates and show primate behavior.  In other words they will come look because something about the person or their actions has triggered their curiosity or they don't want the person in that location.  Sometimes a hunter or person is in a location before a Bigfoot and will catch the Bigfoot unaware.

Does this sound like something a real primate or person would do?  Yes, it does.

So a primate that is wary and shy of people will have the curiosity to go take a look or check things out.  They will also respond to perceived infringements if they feel the need.  That is why the reports and sightings are so important.  Having people explain what they were doing and what they experienced will give further clues about this bipedal primate.  Much of the sightings have similarities but differences.  Which would be expected when you have different situations, people and bipedal primates.

Just thinking of statistics and coincidences in regards to this primate does point more to the reality of them.  Not the other way around.

So when you are walking one evening on a pathway in the woods...
that rustle or footsteps you hear may be a curious bipedal primate watching you.

Bigfoot presence in Colorado

At every location where I investigate I have found prints or impressions.  Huge prints, large prints, some in the human size scale and a couple that were very small.  Many by a water source but some where the Colorado soil wasn't too hard and I was lucky to find the print and in the forest litter.  How have I been successful in finding prints?  The answer is quite simple:

I use the signs they leave that point to their presence
and look where would they most likely travel.

All things that live in the forest leaves a sign of their presence.  It is up to a person looking to learn what the signs are that are left by that particular species.  This approach is used by many who are looking in the forest for a certain species.  Hunters, guides, rangers and biologists all use these signs to help them pinpoint where to look when searching for a species they want to track, hunt or see.  This also applies to looking for the bipedal primate we call Bigfoot/Sasquatch.  They do leave signs of their presence.  Sometimes apparent or sometimes subtle.  It is a process of trial and error to figure out the "what and where" you need to look.  Using reports of sightings are a good resource to help point you to a certain location but it should not be the only resource used.  What about areas where there are no reports?  Does that mean they are not in there?  Reports need to be recognized for what they are.  A person had some type of possible Bigfoot experience and had reported it.  It does not mean that unless there is a report then they are not in a given location.  What it means is that someone was lucky enough to experience this and had reported it.  It is a good way to point you to a certain area.  Nothing more, nothing less.  You need to use several resources to be able to successfully find an active Bigfoot location.  This includes the demographics of the environment and recognizing the signs they leave in the woods and forest.  If you go into an area that has trees and expect they are in there without looking for the physical signs then the chances of them there is next to nothing.

This is a shy, wary, elusive and intelligent primate that can problem solve.  There is nothing easy about finding locations they are in and using.  Take the example of deer or elk and how hard they are to hunt.  They are not even a primate.  When you recognize how it is not a simple matter of just finding some trees and forest and you will find them is a major step forward to helping a person in their endeavor.  If this was an easy process then they would have been officially found a long time ago.

So if these signs of their presence are not real or imagined then how do you explain the prints and impressions I have found using recognizable signs to find the locations?  Finding one or two or even five may be considered lucky but I have found much more than that at several locations including different states.  Some as big as 19 inches and in remote locations.  These prints are the physical evidence and validation of me using the signs of their presence in a location.  I am not talking about 1 or 2 locations but 5 locations.

Its not a coincident.

Monday, January 19, 2015

With this blog I have tried to use sound thinking and reasoning that is backed up with some of the physical evidence that I have collected to make my case about the real presence of Bigfoot here in North America.  Specifically here in Colorado.  I do want to state that I have no doubt of them being real and living in the woods and forest.  So my perspective comes from my knowledge and not based on belief of their existence.  There is a difference.  This knowledge will influence how I talk and argue about them being a real and living species.  So keep this in mind because I have gone from trying to prove their existence to wanting to learn more about them.  That is a major factor in my thought process in regards to this elusive bipedal primate.  What they are exactly and how they fall into the primate category is still a big question.  At this point I know they are alive and living at least here in Colorado but I strongly suspect they live elsewhere in North America.

I will be honest and tell you that I have seen them several times over 1 1/2 years.  I have no photographs or videos to back this up.  Just an eye witness account.  I have been lucky and being in the right place has been a major reason for my visuals.  There are times I have gone back and reviewed  my sightings.  Making sure they were not a figment of my imagination or miss identification.  Why would I do this?  I do this to make sure I am being honest with myself and my fellow SIR investigators.  When I do this it helps me keep a perspective on what I have seen and experienced.  These reviews have cemented my knowledge and helped me while gathering evidence out in the field.  What did I see?
  1. I saw upright hair covered primates.  The upright stance seemed natural and comfortable.  No bobbing or staggering.  Some of them had long hair on their heads and around their shoulders.  One was a female-I could tell from looking that it had the characteristics of a female.
  2. There was movements with most of my sightings:  Moving back and forth from one foot to the other, bending down, turning to look in another direction, moving it's head, leaning away from the tree, walking away and moving back into the tree cover.
  3. Different coloring and on one the face was lighter than the rest of it.
  4. The faces were a face of a primate.  They look similar but were different.
  5. They were very big.  In fact a couple of my visuals were huge.  Outside the range of normal people.
Did I surprise you with the details?  It shouldn't.  These visuals were real and I saw them.  One visual I had I was thinking I was looking at a woman with long hair until I realized that it was covered all over with brown hair.  ????  While watching her, I visually marked where her head was by the pine and when she left I went over there and measured where her head was.  7 feet tall!  When you look at what I had seen, there would be no doubt it was not a bear or mountain lion or deer or elk or another person.  Not a figment of my imagination.  It is what it is-Sasquatch.

It makes you think.

As I ponder about the new year, it makes me look back at what was in the past.  The more I explore into the mystery of Bigfoot to try to make sense of this bipedal primate, the more questions I have.

The first thing I would like to point out are the stories that fishermen and sailors have told about a giant squid.  There have been illustrations about this monster that were drawn and painted by people hundreds and maybe even a thousand years ago.  This was done in different parts of the world.  The fishermen off the Baja California coast had been talking about them for hundreds of years.  The science community has always scoffed at these tales as wild stories of an ocean monster.  Well, guess what?  These so called superstitious locals were right.  There are giant squid in the ocean.  I imagine they are in other parts of the world in other oceans.  Why?  Because there are stories about them there too.

So my questions I have been pondering now for several weeks are the stories told in the medieval and the dark ages about monsters.  Two that come to mind are dragons and hairy giants.  What do I make of this in light of what I have learn over the past 3 years?  Never say never.

So my questions are:

What if the hairy monsters depicted in ancient times were hominids such as a Sasquatch-type of species?

Could they have been all over the world and not just in North America or Asia?

Could they still be in the areas where the stories and pictures have been created?

What if they are real and not just superstitious stories?

What about dragons?

Why would they have detail descriptions of dragons on several continents?

Have similar descriptions of dragons in ancient times?  Before mass communication?

I ask these questions because you should never discount local stories and their shared common knowledge that is passed down through the generations.  To have similar descriptions and stories from different continents from ancient times which correspond to similar stories and descriptions in North America and Asia.   This should make us want to delve into the mysteries more and not to discount them.  Not to laugh or dismiss it as superstition.  Never say never.

So could these fantastic stories I have learned and read may be based on a real species?

NEVER SAY NEVER because our science community and experts have been discounting locals and regular folks for over a thousand years.  They have been proven wrong again and again.  It seems to me that being a so called expert may put blinders on many.  Having an enquiring and an open mind should be a hallmark for science since this field was founded on the premise of trying to answer the mystery of our planet.  I am not saying that being educated and science-oriented is a negative.  What I am saying is that our world is full of mystery and you need to have an open mind to the possibilities that are still hidden.

Never say never...

Tree structure made by Bigfoot in Colorado.

I have in the past have stated that I felt that Bigfoot does use trees for their personal purposes.  Why would they do this?  The main reason I feel they do this is to communicate with each other effectively over large tracts of land without too much effort.  It makes perfect sense for an intelligent primate to communicate in this manner.

Last weekend, I went out into the field with another researcher.  He had found this beautiful tree structure.  You can tell by the pictures that this was purposely made.  There was no way wind or snow had done this.  The structure was not made to be used as a shelter.  What was the purpose of this structure?  This is a perfect example of how our forest friends will use trees to communicate.  What was communicated?  I am uncertain of what was being said but not knowing the end result of this structure does not minimize or take away from the fact that this was purposely made by an intelligent being.

I have found similar structures in other locations hundreds of miles apart.  With similar arches, ravines/terrain and tree break structures close by there seems to be a purpose to it.   That points to it being some kind of message.  I have also noticed that the tree breaks by certain structures have a certain type of breakage.  The height, type of break and distance of the tree breaks are also part of the communication with the main structure found.

Just by figuring out that this is some type of communication is a break through for me.  I am now figuring out the details to see if I can figure out what was communicated.  Looking at the ground and above the ground is very important when you come across tree structures.  I am hoping that the similarities and details will give me more hints of what was communicated.

This bipedal primate is very intelligent and resourceful.  Never underestimate them.  They are not like a deer or bear.  They are a primate much like us and then not like us.  I think by being respectful and unpredictable I will garner their interests and curiosity.  I feel very strongly that it will be the personal approach and not the high tech gear that will draw them.

So I will continue to go out in the field looking for more structures.  By documenting and comparing similarities between different locations will help in this endeavor.   Hopefully the "what" of these structures will be answered in the near future.

Why the persistent stories of Bigfoot?

Why has there been persistent stories of an elusive bipedal primate here in North America?

There has been persistent stories through many different types of sources about a walking, hairy Bigfoot something here in North America for more than 400 years.  The idea of this being perpetuated by uneducated and superstitious folks is actually more of a myth than anything else in regard to the Bigfoot phenomena.  About a third of the reports come from rangers, policemen, firemen, biologists, scientists, teachers and other educated people.  The details of many of these reports refute the idea of a vague or mystical being seen.

These persistent similarities are consistent throughout the 400 plus years all over North America.  Which when you factor in the perceived perception that this is a west coast region phenomena, is pretty amazing.  Regardless of this perception, the reality garnered from the reports and stories actually point to a wide spread North American phenomena.  That reality is what surprises most people.

Sometimes it is the little details reported that make a major impact on re-enforces the reality that there is a bipedal primate in the woods and forests of North America.  One small detail that points to their reality is one seen swaying from one foot to the other while standing and watching.  This small detail of movement seen may not seem to mean much but it is one more detail seen and noted by many.   Another small detail reported by many is the lack of neck seen.  This small detail has been consistently reported by many.

The main reason we will continue to get persistent stories of the elusive bipedal primate because in reality it is a living, breathing species living in our woods and forest here in North America.  That is why we will continue to get stories of Bigfoot regardless of the perception of our society and the science community.

"People from different backgrounds and different parts of the world have describe very similar creatures, behaviors in similar ways, and uttering some striking similar sounds.  As far as I am concerned, the existence of hominids of this sort is a very real probability."
~Renowned chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall talking on National Radio~

"Given the scientific evidence that I have examined, I'm convinced there's a creature out there that is yet to be identified."
~Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Idaho State University Professor of Anatomy and Anthropology~

My question to you:

Why would these two well known experts say what they did about Sasquatch if they were not sure of what they know or suspect?

There are compelling evidence of Sasquatch existence.  The crux of the matter with many is the lack of a body.  Where is the body?  We don't have one at this time.

Is that the only reason to dismiss the probability of a primate here in North America?

My thought: why are we so worried about the lack of a body?  Do we need to have a body to "prove" their existence?  What of the other evidence that has been collected over the years?

The history of discovering new species is having a body.  That way it can be examined and dissected by scientists all they want.  The one thing that researchers such as Jane Goodall have shown that the best knowledge to learn about a species is through field work.  It is much more enlightening through field work than killing and dissecting a species.  That is where in many cases educated guesses from dissections that had become knowledge but found to be wrong by field work.  Species are living and breathing beings.  Knowing how many ribs or teeth is good to know but the behavior and life style observed of species is a better way to gather information.

So until we have a body which I hope is through natural causes, we should gather the field research of this elusive species.  Why worry about something we don't have control over?  By observing and learning about this species through first hand knowledge may be the best way for them.  By knowing who they are in a respectful way and having the general knowledge of them as a species may be how we can as humans able to learn about them without harming them.

To me using any means for the end result of discovery is not ethical or right.  Justification of killing one for the whole species does not make it right.  It is not for the one killed.  What if our science community wanted to kill you saying that it will help our society?  It is always easier for the one who is not in harms way to try to justify this.

We do have a species of some type of hominid here in North America.  I suspect also in other parts of the world.  I dare you to go discover them.  They are out there.

Do you think that Bigfoot uses trees for structures?

That my friends is an important question that all who go out in the field to investigate the mystery of Bigfoot should ask themselves.  This I feel is a valid and important question.  From what I can see there are two camps about this question.  One is that they do not use trees for structures or signs.  That what is seen is a natural occurrence.  The other is that yes, Bigfoot does use trees for structures and signs.

I had gone to a Bigfoot meeting to hear a person talk about what types of evidence we have in regard to Bigfoot.  At one point one woman had asked him if he looked for tree breaks or structures.  He had replied that he doesn't because he doesn't know what they mean.  I was surprised and then wasn't too surprised by his answer.  I know of many who says that there are too many natural factors that causes tree breaks and what looks like tree structures.  What I was surprised about was his answer that he doesn't because he doesn't understand them so he ignores them.  That my friends is very compelling to me.  He never said that they don't make them.  He just said he doesn't understand them so he doesn't look at them.

I am telling you that there are many natural factors that causes tree breaks and structures.  It does occur.  In fact all of them are except in an area that is being used by our forest friends.  In an area that they use, a tiny percentage of less than 1% I would say could be Bigfoot related.  Almost all that I see in the forest is natural occurrences.  It is that one or two unusual tree structures or breaks that doesn't make sense.  I literally will see hundreds while out exploring and if I am lucky I will find 1 sometimes 2 tree related Bigfoot structures.

Four main reasons on why they use trees for structures and signs:
  • The most readily available resource in the forest is trees.
  • They are primates that are human smart.
  • Primates use many different types of communication.
  • Primates are adaptable and will use the environment to their advantage.
The following reasons I have found while out in the field that leads to the conclusion they use trees:
  • My sightings of this primate have been in areas that have tree breaks and structures.
  • The tree breaks show certain indications that are not wind or animal related.  These break patterns are consistent even hundreds of miles apart.
  • Structures that don't make sense if it was caused by natural occurrences.  Similar structures found hundreds of miles apart.
  • I have followed tree  breaks that lead to several shelters that I believe were made by them to use.  They were found in steep and hard to find places.  No cut marks by tools on the branches and trees used.  They were woven together using no tools or rope or other material other than branches and trees.
  • I have found certain patterns that I feel that are Bigfoot related in regards to tree breaks and structures.  When I see a certain type of tree break that seemed to be in a pattern, I will find certain tree structures close by.  This is consistent in areas hundreds of miles apart.
  • I have found prints in the areas that have tree breaks and structures.
  • One location where prints where found and had eye shine on two separate camping excursions was found by seeing one key tree break.  It made me stop and explore the area.
I have several locations that I go out and investigate.  I have had success of finding physical evidence of them such as prints.  At 4 of these locations I have seen them.  Clear visuals of them.   No shadows or a miss-identification.  All of these locations were found using tree breaks and structures.  I have no doubt that they use the trees for their own uses.  The intriguing part is trying to figure out the why.

As The World Turns...

The phrase "As the World Turns" accurately describes our world and how it functions.  Our earth is amazing because of the way it cycles.  Absolutes are in limited basis within our natural world.  It is a continuous evolution of changes.  These natural cycles of our earth have made all living organisms evolve.  If not then they died off.  Making room for other species who are able to evolve with the cycles of changes.

Man from the early stages of development have tried to explain the world around them.  Many cultures used the surrounding environment to teach the meaning of life and their role within that life.  Other cultures have tried to use a pragmatic approach to explain the world.  Using science as an applied method to explain our world.  Nothing more and nothing less.  Science will continue to change and be modified because of the way our world turns.  It is not stationary but fluid and mobile.

Why has our science continue to evolve and change?  It is because of  individuals with imagination, vision and determination.  Individuals such as Jane Goodall with support from Louis Leakey started and maintained a long term study of chimpanzees in Tanzania.  With no college degree, Jane was able to obtain a Ph.D at Cambridge.  Her study of chimpanzees was groundbreaking.  Others such as Dian Fossey studied under Jane Goodall to learn how to do field work study on other primates such as gorillas.  Science had moved from using zoos or universities to study to observing them in their free and natural environment.

Other than a few brave academics, the study of Bigfoot has primarily been done by individuals outside the academic field or science community.  To say that the non-academic/science based individual is not able to be effective in doing research on Bigfoot is saying that Jane Goodall was not an effective researcher because she had no degree.  She is the foremost expert on chimpanzees.  A degree is not needed for intelligence and determination.

I have had the privilege to meet many who go out in the field to study this bipedal primate called Bigfoot.  They are individuals with limited resources but endless determination.  Many have been successful enough to collect real physical evidence.  A limited picture is emerging about Bigfoot and how it lives.  The major hurtle in this endeavor is the way Bigfoot has been able to elude cameras and camcorders.  They seemed to sense what they are and will go out of their way to make them malfunction.  Why is that?  I am not sure on the how and why to answer the question.  I feel that once we can answer that question then we will be able to figure out a solution.

Pioneers are the few select individuals who have the vision and nerve to buck the system to meet their goal.  I consider myself one of those pioneers who have the determination to see this journey through.  How about you?

There is a species of bipedal primates residing in North America's woods and forest.  I have no doubt.

Why is it so hard to believe there may be a species of primate living in our forests and woods?

We have the right environment to sustain them.  Our climate is similar to other climates on other continents that do have them.  Then you have the 400 years of rich oral history with the indigent people.  Who has been able to give a detail and clear picture of what they are.  Which matches what has been reported in modern time.

To me there is enough to have some kind of official investigation into this mystery.  If the reason for not doing so is because of the sensational coverage by our society and media then that is a poor excuse.  If anything there should be a more determined effort to prove they do not exist.  How about the few brave experts who did investigate?  They endured hardships that hindered their progress in their field when they did.  Does that sound like something some expert would do if there was nothing?

Does our government know they are real?
Is there a cover up by our government?
What would be the purpose for doing this?

These 3 questions have been haunting me for the last few months.  I am not a conspiracy theorist but I am now open to some possibilities that it may play a factor into why in regard to Sasquatch, our forest friends.  When you have federal officials who work in the forest department who retire become vocal or join Bigfoot groups, it makes you wonder.

Why?

I have no answer to that.  It opens up a whole new dimension to this mystery.

This is a still frame from what is called the Patterson Grimlin film.  It was shot in 1967 in northern California.  This I believe is a real picture of a Bigfoot.  Why would I say that this is real and not a hoax?  I will outline several reasons why I think it is real.

  • I would like to remind you that we think with the technology we have today.  Think back to what was cutting edge in 1967.  Planet of the Apes was around the same time.  The faces were plastic and unbend able.  They put clothes and shoes on them because they were unable to make the costumes realistic enough.
  • Now look at the picture above.   You see breasts and muscles on the figure in the picture.  Who could and would be able to do this in 1967?  It was not discovered until later that this was female.
  • Look at the arms.  How would you fake the length?  The swing and movement is natural and not floppy like what you see in other hoaxed videos.
  • The hair is not uniform on this figure either.  Not what you see with gorilla costumes or hoaxed pictures/videos.
  • One of the most compelling reason why this is real is our technology.  We have used our advanced technology on this film.  The modern technology has enhanced and showed more details of the figure.  I would expect the opposite.  The best example to emphasize this point is our old movies shown with our modern technology.  They still look old and the new technology just shows the flaws.
For me this is one of the most fascinating and compelling film that caught a female Sasquatch walking across a creek bed.

Why Are We So Fascinated?

What is it that makes us so fascinated with the subject of Bigfoot?  Why has this lasted for hundreds of years?  Is the human brain just pre-programed to naturally do this?  Are the stories that people have shared real or just imagined?

I can only answer for myself and what made me fascinated with the bipedal primate that many call Bigfoot.  To me it is a simple answer.  I am fascinated with Bigfoot because of the history and how we have dealt with this mystery.  It is the classic picture of how our society reacts to mystery and turning it into a sensation.  This reaction helped keep an unknown primate living free and unfettered.

For hundreds of years here in North America the people who lived here have talked about a wild man or another tribe of forest people who dwell in the forest.  Down through the ages the natives of the land taught each generation on how to deal with and interact with the wild man.  There was never a doubt that the wild man was alive and living in the forest.  Then the settlers came.  They wrote in their journals and told stories of finding large barefoot tracks they could not identify.  They also told of unexplained sounds and things that would happen that they know was not from some known animal.  They also talked about the wild man from the natives.  Then you have generational stories from families who had some interactions with a large ape-like thing that was shared among themselves and eventually told outside the family.

Then in the mid-century of the last century, national stories were being reported from the northwestern part of the country.  Of course there have been reports from other parts of the country but those were more localized.  Then you have the famous Grimlin-Patterson film from Bluff Creek area of northern California.  Which I believe is real.  After that, it seemed only the sensational reports that were hoaxes were being reported by the media.  So the fascination for this unknown was turning more to disbelief than questioning.  It seemed like it was game on for perpetrators of hoaxing.  Quietly there were men who were trying to gather evidence.  Our society as a whole ignored them and concentrated on the sensational.

Along comes a TV show that was about 4 people searching for Bigfoot.  This show held our society in fascination.  It also rekindled my interest in this mystery.  This propelled me into searching on the Internet for more information.  I was amazed and relentless in gathering as much information as possible.  What I enjoyed reading the most were the sightings from people.  I was surprised at what people reported.  There were many who had detailed observations of they had seen.  Another surprise was the number of sightings from rangers, biologists, police, fire and other science-oriented people.  It was those reports that made me re-think my perception of sightings.

It is those reports from science-oriented persons and people in positions of trust that made me realize of the possibility of an unknown primate.  Once I realized that there was something in the forest, I wanted first hand knowledge for myself.  I wanted to collect the evidence that would back up the reported sightings.  My realization turned into no doubt because I knew where, when and how the evidence was collected.

I have been fairly successful in finding evidence of the bipedal primate.  There is no doubt about their existence.  My quest is still to continue to collect the evidence.  I also want to learn as much as possible about this amazing primate.  Their elusiveness, intelligence and unexplained aspects of them have made this a daunting task.  There are many unanswered questions that seem to be never-ending but I feel patience, perseverance and respect will help in the endeavor.

So in my round-about way the reason why this is still a mystery is because of how intelligent this primate is and our human nature.  Unless we figure out a realistic way to learn about this primate than the mystery will continue.

We are so impressed by scientific clank that we feel we ought not to say that the sunflower turns because it knows where the sun is. It is almost second nature to us to prefer explanations . . . with a large vocabulary. We are much more comfortable when we are assured that the sunflower turns because it is heliotropic. The trouble with that kind of talk is that it tempts us to think that we know what the sunflower is up to. But we don't. The sunflower is a mystery, just as every single thing in the universe is.
 ~Robert Farrer Capon~

Our world is still mysterious and unknown.  Many of what we would call common, boring run-of- the-mill type of species are still in fact a mystery.  There are still many unknowns about many species that we haven't been able to explain or replicate.  What is very misleading about our scientific community is how they present opinions or educated guesses as a fact.  It bothers me when certain subjects are presented as facts which should in reality be presented as educated guesses.  The best example of this is dinosaurs.  We have fossils but no real remains of them to give us an indication on coloring or skin types or even the breeding cycle of the species.  They are in fact educated guesses based on living species of our time that we may consider similar.

I am not here to rail against how some things are presented as facts when in reality they are educated guesses.  The point I would like to present is how narrow-minded we all can be in particular to the natural world.  When you have consistent reports on certain unknown bipedal primate for over 400 years, it should make you pause and think.  Why are there consistent and similar reports of this animal/creature/being?  Why do some credible witnesses such as rangers wait until they retire to speak about them?  I don't know about you but that alone makes me think of possibilities that there may be something in the woods.

To add to the mystique of Bigfoot or Sasquatch are what many would say are outlandish and downright weird things such as glowing eyes, cloaking and inter dimensional travel that are attributed to them.  Are they outlandish or impossible?  Should we shut our minds to this?  My stand on this: NEVER SAY NEVER!  I maintain that our science hasn't yet caught up to explain some of these things.  We should keep an open mind until then.  One example to point out is electricity.  We have always had electricity.  Only until enquiring minds such as Ben Franklin helped explained what it was and how it can be used.  Until then one common visible form of electricity was lightning.  Before Ben Franklin, lightning was considered an omen or something on that order.  Now we know it as an energy.  We use it to turn on lights or appliances.  Electricity is common in our society.  There are still some mystery to electricity.  We are continuing to learn more about its properties, possibilities and applications.

While out in the field investigating our forest friends, I have had some perplexing things happen. I am not able to explain or figure out the how and why.  What is amazing to me is when I speak to other investigators who have had similar happenings.  I have seen with my own eyes without any doubt their eyes glowing or what some of us call eye shine.  This is emitted from them.  It is not a reflection from a light source such as a flashlight or headlamp.  When you are standing in the darkness of the forest with not lights on, how can it reflect?  I have recorded on my audio some type of electrical buzzing and clicking in an area that had nothing to cause this.  Just those things alone tell me that they have adapted to use electricity in a way that I have no idea on how they do it.  Whether you agree with me or not about the glowing eyes does not matter to me.  I am secure in my knowledge of what I have seen and experienced.  Don't ask me the how and why because that is on my list of many questions about this species.  I don't know and have no problems saying that.

The other things such as cloaking or inter dimensional travel are a total mystery to me.  I have not had any experiences in regards to those things.  I will keep an open mind.  Why would I?  The main reason if you think about it, is that some type of energy must be used to do those things.  What type of energy do they already use that we can't explain?  Electricity.

The whole point of this posting is to make you think beyond what is known.  To think of possibilities that may seem weird or impossible but may be possible.  Sometimes thinking outside the box is really thinking outside the box.  This electricity may be the key to answer some of the mysteries of Bigfoot/Sasquatch.

So are you open-minded enough and brave enough to allow some outlandish or weird possibilities to be considered?  As for me I will not assume anything about this amazing bipedal primate.

Look at those cows and remember that the greatest scientists in the world
have never discovered how to make grass into milk.

Do you think that high tech gadgets are needed to discover Bigfoot?

There are many who feel that if they had the expensive gadgets then they would have what they need to prove the existence of Bigfoot.  I am not too sure about this supposition.  In the past and even now many who have used the expensive gadgets have done so with not much success.  Sasquatch seemed to disappear when the gadgets are being used.  Or will avoid the one using the gadgets.  Why do you think this is so?

I can only go on my experiences, what I heard from others and what I have read and seen on TV.  I think that using our problem solving skills, intelligence and presence could be the real answer.  Using the expensive gadgets should be used to help but not relied on.  The reason I think this is the way to go is because of their abilities they have in regards to the use of electricity.  Others including myself think they can see IR and other types of light that emit electricity to help illuminate the dark.  This ability, sensitivity and their elusiveness could make these gadgets more of a hindrance.  Also I think the gadget that shows heat signatures is a hindrance in close distances.  They may have the ability to sense/use electricity like dolphins, bats and whales do with sonar.  Maybe using the gadgets in one area and having people in another location that they use to get in/out of may be more of an effective way to use the gadgets.  That is what I meant about using the equipment to our advantage.

While out investigating I have in the past been able to pick up electricity signatures on my audio.  ????  One time when I and other investigator was stalked by at least 2 around our tent.  The other 2 times was in my research spot.  All 3 times I was able to rule out electrical lines or other things that could possibly caused the electricity signatures.  What was interesting about these 3 occasions was I never heard or felt anything.  On 2 of those occasions there was clinking along with the buzzing/electrical sound.  When I listened to my audio at home was when I discovered these sounds.

I am not an expert on electricity or anything Sasquatch.  I like to gather facts and analyze the results.  To me it does not make sense to keep doing the same thing over and over if it does not work.  That is why in the past I have said we need to think outside the box.  Trail cams and other equipment seemed not to work.  When we use ourselves to get a response we get better results.  That is telling me more than anything that we need to use ourselves to solve this and not to rely heavily on the technical stuff.  That is much different than what we are used to.  Our society has used technology to research animals with success.

Where do we go now?  I think using good investigative skills is a must.  Appealing to their innate primate characteristics are needed.  Use methods that will establish a positive connection.  By using these approaches I think it will be more productive with our forest friends.

I never said this would be easy or fast.
